44" Countermarch 10 harness loom, purchased in 1980, lightly used and in excellent condition. Including bench, Texsolv heddles, reeds (8 and 12), 45 lease sticks and all documents that came with the original purchase, including set up instructions and VHS video. $1,500.
59" Standard loom at $2500!
The loom is set up in our residence in Sarasota, Florida. The Glimakra as a countermarch loom with the double back beam. The Glimakra is being replaced by a Harrisville "Collingwood" rug loom with shaft switching. "Edie says I can only have one big loom." In Mid July we can deliver the loom, for a reasonable fee, along a route from Sarasota, Florida, to St. Louis, Missouri; to Iowa City, Iowa; to Menomonie, Wisconsin; then Madison, Chicago and to Columbus, Ohio. Then back to Florida going south along Interstate 75 through Cincinnati, Lexington, Knoxville, Chattanuga, Atlanta, Gainesville, Tampa to Sarasota.
The loom is in excellent condition, as I take a great deal of pride in taking care of our looms and keeping them in top notch condition. FYI,I have taken apart, cleaned up, restored to like new condition and sold over $20,000 worth of looms for our guild in the past ten years.

A Glimakra 35 inch Ideal floor loom S O L D
The loom was purchased during the 1970's but has *_never_*been warped.Being preoccupied with a pottery career led to storing the loom. The loom is a Glimakra Ideal 35 inch with bench, having both counterbalance and countermarch equipment, four shafts and six treadles. It has the attached warping frame and one reed. soldThe GLIMAKRA STANDARD is a well constructed, sturdy loom that you can use for all types of weaving.
It is designed with open side frame allowing you easy access for threading and tie-up. The ratchets for both the warp and
cloth beams are conveniently mounted on the outside of the loom so that you can utilize the entire weaving width.
It is crafted of pine, all holes are predrilled so that you can add accessories at any time. This Standard is a counterbalance, or horizontal countermarch.
In the counterbalance tie up the harnesses are balanced against each other. Counterbalance is easy to tie up, easy to treadle, quiet and simple. In the countermarch tie up the harnesses are raised or lowered independently of each other. The countermarch is quiet, provides easier treadling, an even shed and more consistent tension: an advantage for multi harness weaving, delicate warps, where tight tension is needed, etc.
This Standard is a 43.5" wide with 4 harnesses and 6 treadles. The maximum height with horizontal countermarch is 72".
Included with the loom are 4 rubber non-slip feet, several warp sticks, shaft holders, mallet, bench & several heddles. Included is a reed and a VHS video on assembly & warping. Also included is a warping mill purchased separately.

12 Shaft Standard loom in Florida SOLD
12 shaft Glimakra Standard, horizontal countermarch, 48" weaving width. This loom has a large shed, very good for weaving rugs. Equipped with Texsolv heddles, it is also excellent for weaving fine linen or silk. Beater has been weighted for rug weaving; weight easily removable. Sectional warp beam, 10 dent stainless steel reed, harness racks, extra heddles, Joanne Hall's book Tying up the Countermarch Loom. This loom is in great shape, having been lovingly cared for since 1994. $2500. Available in North Florida.
Horizontal countermarch loom, 47", Standard model in Denver CO. SOLD
It has 4 shafts and 8 jacks, and a loom mounted warping board. The loom has string heddles and texsolve tie ups and cord. Not shown in the photos are the adjustable loom bench, the treadle rod and two treadles. It is from the mid- to late-1970's. This loom was purchased and used by a weaver whose family moved her to assisted living, and being unfamiliar with her loom, some parts went astray. It has been well taken care of and is in nice condition, there is some normal wear on the wood of the breast beam. $950
I believe the loom will need the following (all available from Glimakra USA): 4 treadles - $36 each, for $144 4 each of lower and upper lamms - $240 Fabric protection board - $30 2 bundles of warp sticks - $40 each, for $80 Spool of extra texsolv cord - $60 Lease stick - $19 There may be some other small items one might purchase. When new, it came with a wooden mallet, wire shaft pins - $8, reed - $115, possibly more heddles since I did not count the number of heddles. Glimakra Standard 100 cm (40") Countermarch Loom
Eight harness, 10 treadles, sectional warp beam, includes 3 reeds (6 dent, 12 dent, 15 dent) 3 sets of lease sticks, 35 warp sticks, extra Texolv tie up strings and anchor pegs and 3 shuttles.
This is an older loom, built before 1980 but in excellent condition. I traded my 60" Glimakra to a friend for this loom in 1993 when we moved to a smaller house. I am unable to locate the assembly manual but will take a lot of photos when I take it apart.
I am asking $2,000. for the loom and all accessories. If you plan to attend HGA Convergence in Albuquerque, NM in July perhaps we could transport it there and save you some on shipping. Pick up is always an option. Otherwise, packing and shipping are extra and will depend on buyer’s location. The loom is located in Tucson, AZ.

Glimaka Tapestry Loom - The Regina SOLD
I am selling my Glimaka 2 harness tapestry loom - the Regina - as I have had to stop weaving for health reasons. This loom is out of production but it is a very desirable loom for tapestries and rugs as the brakes on each side of the loom keep the tension on the warp stable. The weaving width is 60", and the overall dimensions of the loom are 74"X77"X47". It currently holds a 5 foot long X 40 inch wide sein twine cotton warp at 7 ends to the inch preserved with a cross. Along the back of the loom are pegs that are intended to be used as a warping board.

I have a used (25 years old) 60 inch Standard Loom. Countermarch-8 harness with texsolv heddles and 10 treadles. It has a sectional beam and warping rack that attaches to the rear of the loom.It has a built in bench that is adjustable with pegs. I also have a fly shuttle beater that I've never used. It has 3 reeds-6-12-20. The tie up is also Texsolv.I have used the loom all these years and is in very good condition. Just had my hip replaced and it is too big for me to operate easily. Glimakra Regina Tapestry Loom S O L D
Bought about 1988, this loom has been gently used and carefully maintained and is in excellent condition. It comes with a front shelf, rubber feet, and all original parts, including tools (mallet and wrenches for assembly and disassembly), pegs for making warp on the back, lease sticks, and 480+ Texsolv heddles. Also included: a hand tapestry beater, and an additional bar weight for the beater to allow for stronger beating, and three reeds: the original 40 " 8 dent reed, and two extras: 37" 12 dent and 36" 10 dent.

Glimakra standard 120 cm (47") vertical countermarche loom with unique accessories
Bought new 2003, 10 harness, 10 treadles (Picture 1). In addition to loom parts, it comes with matching adjustable bench, 4 rubber feet, a wooden mallet, harness holders, etc.. Unique, custom-made tool tray that slides on and off (Picture 2). Added a custom-made light ramp with 2 fluorescent lights that shine directly onto the weaving area. Beater handle. A 12-dent reed and the video “Dress your loom the Swedish way” are included. It also has a new tie-up kit with beads using knitting needles (eliminating anchor pegs) and 50 yards of uncut texsolv cord + 10 extra yards of new cord. About 1,000 heddles.

Countermarche / counterbalance 8 harness. The model is the Standard, dimensions inside are 43 1/4" (110 cm.) the outside width is 46 3/4" Depth is 57 1/2" Height is 64". This loom is in great condition was gently used for its 35 year life. Included in the purchase is an adjustable height bench, a used reed, rubber feet for floor protection and the parts to change over from countermarche to counterbalance.

Standard 50 inch Loom circa 1983, Countermarche.
Used occasionally and then put in storage for close to 20 years. Very Good condition, structurally sound, minor cosmetic damage. The loom is located in San Luis Obispo County, California. I really don't want to crate and ship it. I'll deliver within California for the price of gas (and help reassemble it), or you can pick it up. Disassembled, it should fit in most mid-sized or larger cars (compact or smaller would be tight unless you can remove seats).
The loom was second-hand when I bought it. It was my primary loom from 1993 to 1997, but hardly used after that. I'm selling it to make room in the studio for a jacquard. The Glimakra is a great loom , as good for rugs as for fine threads.

Glimakra large floor warping reel. SOLD
Excellent condition. I have owned it since 1985, recently moved to a smaller studio. The reel can fold down to take less space. Using a warping reel is the fastest and most accurate way to wind a warp.

Gobelin Style Tabletop Tapestry Loom (24 inch). This is a small loom that I
found in an antique shop in Wisconsin. It is stamped
Vavstotsfabriken Glimakra Sweden. I'm not sure of its age. There
were 6 warp knobs missing from the top that I had made by a
woodworker. I added rubber end caps to the bars and purchased a 24 inch, 10
dent reed to go with it. From Glimakra I was able to get information on
warping the loom. Since I know little about this loom and have not used
it, I'm asking $150.
