Texsolv for weavers
Here is a bit of information from the Texsolv webpage:
Texsolv AB was founded in 1977 by Sune Ivarsson. It is located in Dalsland Sweden. They make heddles, cord, anchor pins, arrow pegs and weaving tie-up kits, with all the individual cords cut to length and color coded for where they go on the loom. Texsolv simplifies the threading and tie-up of the loom.
Initially heddles, cord and tie-up sets for handweaving looms and ladder strings for Venetian blinds were manufactured.
Texsolv heddles and cord are highly regarded by weavers. The heddles are light weight, strong, long lasting, easy to handle and of
lengths available to fit most looms. They can accommodate very close setts. They are easy to thread and comfortable to hold as you are threading them. They are easy to put onto shafts and easy to remove, since they are flexible. Texaolv cord is strong and with equally spaced 'eyes' or 'button holes' obtaining
consistent lengths is a snap. The use of the arrow peg or anchor pin make it unnecessary to tie knots
making tie up and use of the cord even easier. Tex stands for textile and solv is the Swedish name for a heddle.
We stock 13 sizes of heddles plus many sizes of long eyed heddles for pattern weaving. We also stock the cord on spools of 20 meters (22 yds), 50 meters (55 yds) and in boxes of 250 meters. We also have the heavy beam cord, anchor pins and arrow pegs. Below find information on how to use the Texsolv products.

In this photo you can see how an anchor pin and the cord can be used for treadle tie up. The equally spaced 'button' holes in
the cord make the adjustment not only quick, but accurate and knotless. Arrow pegs, the other item used for knotless tie-up, can
be used in instances where the anchor pin will not function well. Both arrow pegs and anchor pins are available in bags of 25.
If you clicked on the arrow peg above you saw other examples from Texsolv of how the pegs and pins are used.
The cord comes on spools of either 20 meter (about 22 yards) or 50 meters (about 55 yards. It does not stretch over time or with tension and is a perfect weaver's cord. We also carry the Texsolv beam cord, which is slightly heavier and comes on 30 meter spools. Glimakra makes a 'cord threader' tool which is helpful in threading cord through holes.
Texsolv kits, pre-made for various models of countermarch or counterbalance looms are also available.

In the photo above you can see the Texsolv heddle in use.
