Retail / Wholesale.Glimakra USA sells both retail and wholesale to shops which stock Glimakra looms and products. With a new warehouse constructed in August of 05 and container sized orders coming in from Sweden most items can be shipped right away. How to order from Glimakra-USA StudioHelping you get the correct item, whether a stick shuttle or a drawloom, is important to us so we prefer to deal directly with you either by phone (toll free 866-890-7314) or by email. If you have special needs or just can't find the answer, be sure to call Joanne. A wealth of knowledge and expertise is one of our key resources. You don't need part numbers, though they can be helpful. Just a description of your need and we'll ask a few questions to assure we understand your need. We can also help supply parts for older looms and for sizes (widths) which have been discontinued. ShippingShipping generally depends on the size and weight of the items you order. Most shipments are by FedEx Ground or FedEx Home. This generally means delivery to you in less than a week. Larger items, that is looms, most often ship by common carrier (truck). We use Midwest Motor Express. Shipment out of their service area will be transferred at some point to another interline carrier. If delivery is to a residence by a common carrier, the residential delivery fee is prepaid. When an item ships by Midwest Motor Express we send you by email, preferably, a PRO number by which you can track the shipment at www.mmeinc.com. Common carrier shipments to the east coast take about a week. Books, videos and smaller items are generally shipped to you by priority mail unless you designate otherwise. We can ship looms to Canada. Books and videos can be sent worldwide, generally by Global Priority mail. We will estimate freight or postage before hand if you wish. Shipping charges are based on weight and bulk not on price. We will drop ship without extra charges. TermsWe prefer payment by check or money order, net 30 days. We can accept Visa and MC, which is useful for customers beyond our borders. (Wire transfer is also acceptable if needed.) We try to ship orders within 2 business days or sooner. Invoices can be enclosed for FedEx shipments. Or we can email invoices or send them by USPS or just tell you the amount over the phone. Whatever suits your needs. Can't afford it right away? Talk to us. Notes on receipt of your goodsWhether you order from us or any other supplier, always inspect your delivery by FedEx or common carrier for visible damage and to be sure the number of cartons delivered matches what was shipped. (We advise you of the number of cartons before hand for common carrier shipments.) If cartons are smashed, crushed, broken, open, etc. be sure to note this on the delivery receipt. Just write on the receipt somewhere what the problem visually appears to be, eg, "box crushed and open". After noting visible damage you can inspect the contents for any hidden damage. If there is damage contact us or whoever you purchased from right away. Without the notation of visible damage on the delivery receipt it is really tough to get any damage claim. For FedEx, be sure to save the cartons and any packing material if there is damage.
